I love my Daddy!!!

It's been a toss up as to whether Beau looks more like Dustin or myself, however, it is obvious from what Beau likes to do that he REALLY loves his daddy!!!!

It's rare to see Beau reading without him grabbing for the book.

Ashley & Nolen's Wedding

Beau made his first trip to California for Ashley and Nolen's wedding. It was daddy's first time on the plane with Bean and he did great. Beau pretty much slept on mommy's lap the entire flight. Uncle Spencer also flew with us, but he sat by himself. We flew into Sacramento, so we had a 3 hour drive to Fresno. Beau did great with it too and only fussed at the very end.

The rocks had our table number on the back so we knew where to sit. Even Beau got one!

We went all out and gave Beau a Mohawk for the wedding (Grandma Wolfe really likes it).

Beau was really good during the ceremony thanks to the petals on the ground to entertain him.

On our way back to Sacramento, we took a side trip through Yosemite. It was well worth the extra drive! We thought that Spencer would have to talk more after being stuck in the car with us for 6/5 hours, but no luck!!!!

Beau thought a little stroll might be nice after being in the car for so long.

He soon decided he would just ride on Daddy's shoulders.

We made two trips to In N Out Burger while we were in CA. Thank goodness for the California cousins to tell us how it's done! Animal style all the way :o)

Summer Fun

Beau is growing up really fast. I love that he knows to smile when I have the camera :o)

He enjoys playing in his play station from the inside and outside.

Beau LOVES to stand and gets very upset when he has to sit down. He likes to hold on to his play gym...
It was great that both Dustin and I got to participate in Beau's swim lessons

Beau is quite the fish!

He enjoyed "jumping" into us and by the end of the lessons we could sit him on the edge and he would lean forward and close his eyes.

I know I had just as much fun with swim lessons as Beau did.

This is not typically how Beau looks after he is done eating, but he was feeling messy that day!

First zoo trip

Beau made his first trip to the Denver Zoo with Mommy, Godmother Teresa, Norah, Jacqueline, and Claudia. It was a wonderful day and he did great!

It was exciting that the hippo was actually out of the water.

Swimming!!!

Beau started swim lessons yesterday! I don't know about him, but I had a ton of fun. He seemed to take to the water well and didn't mind getting his face wet.
