Beau's First Camping Trip

We decided it was time for Beau to go camping! We went just outside of Conifer in case it didn't go well and we needed to go home. He had a blast!!!!!

He pitched in and helped dad with the tent.

I LOVE this picture, my two favorite guys :o)

Okay, this one is good too...

Beau enjoying his first smore.

He didn't quite understand that we were going to sleep in the tent and spent several hours (until it was finally dark) running around doing rolls and making us really nervous. Once he fell asleep it was fine...

He must of needed more sleep because he fell asleep in the car the next morning.

Beau helped dad do a little fly fishing... Too bad they didn't catch anything.

Lissa & Blake's Wedding

Dustin, Beau, and I were able to go to Longview to celebrate Lissa and Blake's wedding. It was so much fun and we were even able to spend some time with Tom and Susan in Dallas (Dustin's uncle and aunt).

Dustin took the lead in taking care of Beau for the weekend and I was able to focus on Lissa and just having fun. He and Beau did great, so I know I can do it again :o)

Beau wanted to help pack and make sure I didn't leave his clothes behind.

Dustin and Beau enjoyed the pool at Tom and Susan's

Beau loved the little boat they had

A toast before the wedding!

The House

Although I have come to realize I will never live up to everyone else in posing on my BLOG, I am going to claim that I have been spending a lot of time working on the house. Here are a few pictures to show some of the progress... More to come.

Fall 2009

Spring 2010 with the shutters painted. There is still a lot more work to do outside, but I think it was a good start :o)

For those of you who don't remember, the entire inside of our house was painted a pale yellow when we moved in. Dustin thought we should have painted first, but I said that it would be okay. I was wrong!!! Nothing we had, minus the nursery, looks good with yellow.
Living room pre-painting

After painting for MANY hours

We also got a piano from my aunt and uncle, which I was really excited about. Poor Dustin wasn't excited to move it, but with help from Cousin Nate and Coach Ford I don't think it was too bad :o)

Fun Moments

Here are a fun few moments over the past couple of months I wanted to share...

When Beau and I went to visit Grandma Wolfe at work, Beau walked my mom's friend Mary's dog. She was very big, but so gentle with him!

Beau and Corbin before Corbin headed off to Prom...

Beau and Uncle Blake, chillin'

Beau seems to really enjoy visiting Woody when we are in BV, it's hard to believe that Beau is 5 months older than him!

I love seeing that he isn't afraid of the animals...
Beau loves getting into Daddy's closest and trying on his shoes.
He also enjoys getting into my close and putting things around his neck :o)
